Ordering Information
TO SELECT AN AUGER SYSTEM
1. Choose an RPM for your required capacity.
2. Find the estimated horsepower required.
3. Find the type of belt required.
1. RPM:
Select an RPM for your required capacity. Capacities are for corn (14-15% moisture) or ground feed and wheat (14%moisture). Multiply by .61 for soybeans (14% moisture).
Capacities are based on a 65% auger fill rate. 80% is theoretical maximum. Soybeans have a 40% fill rate with a 55% theoretical maximum.
2. HORSEPOWER:
Find the estimated horsepower for your RPM, auger length, and angle of incline. Horsepowers are for corn, wheat and beans (15% moisture). Multiply the horsepower by 1.2 for ground feed. Multiply by 1.42 for corn at 25% moisture.
3. BELT SELECTION
Select the belt for your RPM, and horsepower combination.
