Sudenga offers three different sweep styles to choose from. The carry-in sweep can be moved between bins and is available for both standard and commercial applications. Sudenga’s power sweeps are run from gearboxes that are mounted to the underbin so they can be left in place when filling the bin. The power sweeps are available in both round tube and u-trough formats. And for larger storage facilities, we offer a zero-entry commercial sweep. Read more about all three styles below:
Carry-In Sweeps
*Sweep is removed before filling the grain bin
Farm Duty Carry-In Sweep – This is a traditional format bin sweep that can be moved between multiple bins. Pair the carry-in sweep with a 6”, 8”, or 10” underbin augers. Section combinations are available for bins up to 49’6” in diameter. The sweep must be removed from the bin before filling it with grain.
Commercial Duty Carry-In Sweep (Series I) – Commercial grade sweep that can be moved between multiple bins. Pair with an 8”, 10” or, 12” underbin auger or a similar capacity conveyor. Standard section combinations are available for bins up to 80’5” in diameter. Contact the factory for larger bins. The sweep must be removed from the bin before filling it with grain.
Power Sweeps
*Sweep is driven from gearboxes mounted to the underbin
Posi-Shift Round Tube Power Sweeps – A complete bin unload system. 8” and 10” underfloor round tube auger systems integrated with gearbox-driven sweep arm. Entire system is driven through one drive mounted outside of the bin. 8” systems are available for bins to 61’ and 10” systems are available for bins to 80’ diameter. The system is designed to be left in place when filling the bin.
Posi-Shift U-Trough Power Sweeps – Complete bin unload system. 10” and 12” u-trough underfloor auger systems are integrated with a gearbox-driven sweep arm. The entire system is driven through one drive mounted outside of the bin. 10” and 12” systems are available for bins up to 80’ in diameter. The system is designed to be left in place when filling the bin.
Zero-Entry Commercial Sweep
D-Series Commercial Sweep – This electric-driven, zero-entry commercial bin sweep is available with 12” or 16” flighting and can be used in grain bins to 130 feet in diameter. This sweep features explosion-proof electrical components and it is totally controlled from outside of the grain bin. The system is designed to be left in place when filling the bin.
