Diversified Technologies Inc. is seeking a Business Application Programmer to join our IT team and support the development, customization, and maintenance of business-critical applications. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. DTI provides a competitive wage and benefits package.

Job Title: Business Application Programmer

Job Description:
The Business Application Programmer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business operations. This role works closely with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements, streamline processes, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy. [1]

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain business applications, integrations, and custom programs.
Collaborate with business users to gather and define requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Develop reports, dashboards, and automation tools to support business functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards.
Maintain and update existing applications to meet evolving business needs.
Work with IT staff and vendors to implement upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in programming languages, especially PHP (Laravel Framework), HTML and Java Script, React, and SQL.
Familiarity with ERP and other business application platforms.
Strong understanding of databases and data structures (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
Ability to analyze business processes and recommend technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Organized and detailed oriented.
Reliable attendance.
Dependable.
Ability to work with a team.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience with API development and system integrations.
Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, etc.).
