Sudenga Industries, George, IA opened its first company-owned distribution center June 1, 2010 in Atwood, IN.
According to Greg Ver Steeg, Vice President Marketing for Sudengas, the new center primarily serves a 300-mile radius around Atwood, essentially the eastern half of the Corn Belt, but due to its geography, could ship all the way to the East Coast.
The 12,700-square-foot center consists of two warehouse buildings at 409 E. Main St. in Atwood, including 1,300 square feet of office space.
The distribution center handles Sudenga’s extensive line of grain, feed and seed handling products including bin unloading systems, round tube and u-trough augers, portable augers, bucket elevators and drag conveyors, as well as a complete line of parts.
In addition to the Sudenga products, Chief Industries, Kearney, NE, utilizes the Atwood distribution center for its line of grain bins and accessories.
