Help keep grain moving through the center sump

The Sudenga Grain Halo Sump Guard helps break apart crusted or clumped grain before it can restrict flow through the center sump. Mounted above the sweep gearbox, it helps promote more consistent unloading when grain conditions become difficult.

How it works

When the bin is full, grain pressure pushes the Grain Halo’s feet against the bin floor. This transfers the load into the floor rather than placing it directly on the sweep gearbox. Positioned above the center sump, the Grain Halo helps break apart crusted, caked or compacted grain before larger clumps can restrict flow.

As the bin unloads and grain pressure decreases, the Grain Halo lifts from the floor and travels with the sweep. It remains connected throughout normal unloading, so operators do not need to enter the bin to disconnect, remove or reposition it.

By helping manage difficult grain conditions while moving with the sweep, the Grain Halo supports the zero-entry capabilities of applicable Sudenga sweep systems.
