Sudenga Industries Opens Office at Research Park in Brookings, South Dakota

Brookings, SD June 19, 2014 – Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI), parent company of Sudenga Industries, Inc. and Dur-A-Lift, Inc. of George, Iowa has opened an innovation office at the South Dakota State University Research Park in Brookings, South Dakota.

“The constant discovery and development of new solutions for the way agriculture and industry moves things has always been core to who we are as a company” said Chuck Sjogren, Director of Human Resources at DTI.  “The opportunity to collaborate with SDSU in areas associated with our core businesses will enhance our growth as an organization.”

A number of DTI engineering and programming staff will be based in the Brookings location and are tasked with directing a year around internship program at the office.  Sjogren continued, “Through the internship program, we hope to add value to the student experience by providing real world context for the development of ideas and skills that students are applying themselves towards in school.”  Sjogren said students will have the potential opportunity to pursue full-time positions following graduation.

Sudenga Industries, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of material handling solutions for agricultural and industrial applications.  Dur-A-Lift, Inc. is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of truck and van mounted aerial lifts.

Diversified Technologies, Inc. took possession of its space in the Research Park at the beginning of May and is actively basing a number of R&D projects out of the Brookings location.  DTI employs over 260 people.  Production for all divisions and product lines takes place on its 28 acre campus, in its 176,000 square foot facility outside George, Iowa.
